Sixth Form Exam Results 2025
BackClarendon Academy are celebrating the success and achievements of our Yr 13 students this year on results day. We are incredibly proud of our students' accomplishments, with 32% of our students achieving grades from A* to B in A-Level courses, reflecting their strong academic performance and dedication. As well as these impressive A-Level results we are celebrating a stunning set of vocational results. 42% of all vocational grades were at Distinction*, 66% at Distinction and above, with 85% at merit and above. These results showcase the breadth of talent within our school and their ability to excel in both academic and technical fields.
These strong results mean almost all students (95%) have secured places at their first choice universities. We wish them all the best as they move on to the next stage in their educational journey.
Dr Claire Hidalgo-Curtis, the Head of Sixth Form, said this: “This year, our students have shown remarkable determination, resilience, and ambition. They have faced challenges head-on and turned them into opportunities to grow, achieve, and inspire those around them. We are immensely proud to see so many heading off to top universities to study subjects ranging from STEM disciplines such as medicine, astrophysics, and psychology to the humanities, including philosophy, ancient history, and law. We also celebrate students embarking on careers in the armed forces, beginning studies at art colleges, travelling to play cricket in Australia, and undertaking prestigious degree apprenticeships. Each of them has worked hard, overcoming challenges of all kinds, and achieved what was needed to take the next step towards a bright and exciting future. I feel privileged to have been a supportive part of their journey and proud of all that they have accomplished.”
Mr Craig Turze, Headteacher, also passed on his congratulations to Year 13. “Our students should be really proud of their achievements. Their hard work has paid off and allowed them to move on to their next steps in their journey through education or into their careers. I hope they enjoy celebrating with friends and family. We’re looking forward to keeping in touch with them in the coming years and hearing about their ongoing successes”.
