Dear Parents and Carers

Firstly, we hope that the half-term break has given your family time to recharge ahead of Term 2.

Tutor Meetings – Taking place today, Monday 1st November

A reminder that between 2.00pm and 5.00pm today, there will be tutor meetings taking place.  5 minutes before your appointment, please login at: https://parents-booking.co.uk/clarendon . You will be able to join a meeting room, where you can wait for your allocated appointment time.  Please ensure you are ready to receive it.  To login you will need to enter:

    1. Your first name and surname

    2. Your child’s first name, surname and date of birth

The login details you enter must match those we have on record for you.

Please don’t worry If you haven’t made an appointment.  Our tutors will phone you to give you an update.  This will be a great time to share any information of use to both the tutor and teachers.

Lateral Flow Testing

Ahead of school tomorrow, please remember to complete a lateral flow test, and submit results to the GOV.UK website, and here at the school.

How do you upload the results to the GOV.UK website?

You will need the test kit ID number underneath the QR code on the test strip to complete this.  You may wish to save this link to the homepage of your phone for convenience. Alternatively go to https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result using your device’s browser or report by telephone to 119.

How do you inform school of the result after each test?

You may wish to save this link to the homepage of your phone for convenience.  Alternatively go to https://bit.ly/clarendonstudentresults using your device’s browser.

Your ongoing support for lateral flow testing is greatly appreciated and acts as a control measure in these challenging times. If your child receives a positive lateral flow test, then we advise a PCR test will need to be booked in.

Please do not send your child to school if they have tested positive for Covid-19 using a PCR test in the last 10 days, or have any of the following symptoms:

  • a high temperature
  • a new, continuous cough
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste

In they do demonstrate these symptoms, it is essential you book your child in for a PCR test by calling 119, or going online to https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test, .  Please do keep us updated too by contacting our  Attendance Officer on 01225 762686, and leaving us a message.

Start of the Day Change

From tomorrow, your child’s first lesson of the day will start at 8.45am.  This was originally a 20 minute Tutor Time, which has now been moved to 10.45.  Please ensure your child arrives promptly to school.

Please do continue to contact us on any of the following numbers, if you have any questions. Thank you again for your continued support.

All the best
