Emotional Literacy Support Assistants

In school, we currently have two trained ELSA’s (Emotional Literacy Support Assistants), Mrs J Smith and Mrs C Harrall, who have both completed the recognised ELSA training course.

ELSA work is aimed at supporting students with their emotional wellbeing in a variety of ways including; Support with emotions, coping with bereavement, social and therapeutic stories, anger management, self-esteem, conflict resolution and friendship.
