House System

At Clarendon we run our pastoral system through houses. We currently have three houses in the main school, Eagle, Falcon and Kestrel. The houses have competitions between them as they are aiming to win various cups for attendance, achievement and competitions. These all contribute to the overall winning house cup, which is awarded at the end of the academic year.

Each House has a Head of House, who oversees the academic progress of their students in years 7 to 11, We have three dedicated people to deliver the Pastoral care, alongside the Heads of Houses. Each have a specific role, but equalling work as a team to ensure all the needs of our students are met.

All three are trained in Child protection and have vast experience in Pastoral Care. Their work unpins that of the Head of House, who focus on student progress, student leadership and lead on the culture and ethos of our school. 

Our sixth form pastoral system runs separately and are called Owls.
