Employer And Parent Engagement

The Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge is excited to be working with many employers, businesses, organisations, parents and education providers within our local community and wider.

We encourage involvement from these groups and we feel it develops the wide experiences that our students can gain in preparing and advising them to take their next steps as well as making them aware about the wider world of work and adulthood. Your involvement with our students benefits them through helping to broaden their horizons and raise the aspirations of our students. There are also benefits for your organisation in terms of potential recruitment of our talented students as future employees, apprentices or volunteers.

We have started to create a database of contacts and offers of help for our events. Any support that you are able to offer can really help our provision of Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance in Clarendon. Some examples of current support offered are through work experience placements, assemblies to and mentoring of students who are interested in pursuing a career in your industry, help with mock interviews, workplace visits, supporting events like our Aspirations Day and Apprenticeship Fair.

If you are able to support us and want to be added to our database or have ideas in helping us develop our CEIAG provision, please contact Mr Hayden Smith (Head of Careers at The Clarendon Academy) on:
